United Metal Emporium began in 1948 — before Bengaluru was a tech city, before supermarkets existed, when trust between a shopkeeper and his customer was built face to face, one purchase at a time.

Our first exhibition store opened at Subhash Nagar Grounds near Majestic in 1958, during the Congress Exhibition — a moment our grandfather always spoke about with pride. From that single stall, my father grew the business steadily over decades, building relationships with customers who kept coming back, and then sent their children, and now their grandchildren.

Today, United Metal Emporium stands at 158/1, Shri Rama Plaza, Gandhi Bazaar, Basavanagudi — one of Bengaluru's most iconic neighbourhoods — stocking over 1000 products from India's most trusted brands:
